Executive Education

Executive education at LUMS is offered by the Suleman Dawood School of Business through the Executive MBA programme, the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC), and the Social Enterprise Development Centre (SEDC).

The Executive MBA programme offered by the SDSB is designed for mid-career managers and entrepreneurs who are aiming to take on greater challenges as they take their careers onto the next level and make an impact on the productivity of their organisations. This programme attracts participants from a diverse range of organisations from all over Pakistan and other countries. The case method of teaching, combined with the experiential learning through mutual interaction, gives a unique flavour to the programme.

Special development courses for executives are offered through the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) at LUMS. Established in 1989, the centre offers a wide range of executive development and training programmes, effectively responding to the evolving development needs of managers and leaders around the globe. REDC offers both open-enrollment and organisation-focused programmes.

The Social Enterprise Development Centre (SEDC) serves as a scholarship-based research centre working towards the capacity building of social enterprises in Pakistan. The centre has linkages with more than 500 social sector organisations and has published more than 170 case studies and notes written by the LUMS faculty for the social sector. It has published 6 casebooks on the social sector with several more in progress. The centre also assists development professionals to network, collaborate and take on policy initiatives jointly and offers customised and open-enrollment training programmes for NGOs in various aspects of capacity building.
