Faisal Bari

Faisal Bari is Associate Professor of Economics at LUMS. He teaches in the areas of microeconomics, industrial organization, game theory and development. His research interests are broadly in the same areas as well. Recent research/consulting work has been focused on rural Punjab, NWFP and Balochistan. He is currently also a Visiting Research Fellow at Mahbub ul Haq Human Development Centre where he is involved in a 5 year four-country education sector research project in collaboration with researchers from Universities of Cambridge, Oxford, and Edinburgh, and from India, Ghana and Kenya. He is also a columnist for the English daily, The Nation.
