A merit for interview short listing is established on academic ranking, work experience and test score performance of the candidates. Those who qualify this comparative ranking are called for interview. The interview is a key indicator of the potential of EMBA candidates. During the interview, the Admissions Committee tries to assess the applicant's communication skills, managerial potential, thinking ability, subject knowledge and level of awareness of general issues. Final decision regarding admission will be taken after the interview.

No, there are no age restrictions for admission to the EMBA Program.

Accommodation facilities are available for all participants. Participants will have to indicate on their admission application whether they want to stay on campus and they will have to commit for the entire programme. Participants will be responsible for meals and other expenses.

There is no set formula that the Admissions Committee uses to weigh the different strengths and weaknesses of applicants. In such a competitive applicant pool, it is often the intangible issues that tend to come up during interviews that will distinguish you from your competition. An interview should be viewed as your opportunity to put a face with your file.

A normal working day will start at 8:30 and finish between 18:30 and 20:30. The day would start with classes and would conclude on an individual preparation for cases to be taught the next day.

The Executive MBA programme is designed for people who have already taken the first steps in their career. We therefore do not offer specific "majors" since these concentrations are generally viewed as a way for business students to prepare themselves for entry-level positions. Instead our focus is to offer courses to those already in management positions, in order to enable them to progress to higher managerial and leadership ranks. Our training is therefore geared more toward the understanding of broad management and leadership skills

The Executive MBA participants are about eight years more experienced, on average, than the traditional MBAs. They are therefore about that much farther along in their careers. In addition, the Executive MBA Program has been designed to offer the skills required for those about to enter the senior management ranks of their organizations, rather than in-depth study in a specific functional area.

We would prefer that your organisation financially supports your studies, however, in case, your organisation is not willing to support you financially then you may self-finance your studies or you can avail MCB Loan Facility. Furthermore, the support of your organisation is crucial as far as releasing you from your work to attend classes at LUMS.

Admission status will only be forwarded via courier service. We are unable to provide the final application status by telephone or e-mail inquiry

We recommend that at least one should be from a supervisor in your professional career. The other letter can be from a faculty member who has had a reasonable opportunity to evaluate you academically.

A minimum of two letters of recommendation are required by the office, but will gladly consider additional letters.

There are no allowable credit transfers from another program to the EMBA Programme. All admitted students, regardless of an advanced degree, will begin the program as a first year student.

You don’t need to send us a copy of your LMAT result as we have with it; however, you can send in your GMAT un-official score report along with your supporting documents

After on line registration applicants will be required to send the following documents to LUMS Admissions Office:

• Two passport size Photographs
• Two photocopies of the National Identity Card or Valid Passport
• Bank Draft drawn in favor of LUMS or On-line payment status or a photocopy of bank receipt
