Dr. Z. I. Qureshi Appointed to Punjab Education Committee
Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qureshi, Visiting Professor LUMS and Chief of Party, Assessment and Strengthening Programme at LUMS has been appointed Member of the Committee on Compulsory and Free Education in Punjab.
According to the article 25A of the constitution, compulsory and free education for those aged between 5-16 years is the constitutional right and they should have access to it.
Dr. Qureshi is already serving as the advisor to the Punjab Government on Education. On this committee he brings with him more than 40 years of experience in Education, Training and Teaching. He has authored research papers and published articles in the areas of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. Dr. Qureshi's research interests are in the areas of Change Management, Leadership and Organizational Design, Performance Management and Reward Systems.
