Remembering Nehdia Sameen - LUMS Alum and Former Faculty

Nehdia Sameen an alumna of LUMS and former Adjunct Faculty at the University passed away on June 15, 2012 of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 29.
Nehdia completed her BSc (Honours) degree from LUMS in 2005, majoring in Computer Science. She received a MA degree in Psychology from New York University, after receiving a Fulbright award.She taught Psychology at LUMS before she enrolled in a PhD programme at Simon Fraser University. Nehdia was a Teaching Fellow at LUMS for a year from January 2010 to January 2011 and continued to teach here as Adjunct Faculty from January 2011 till May 2011. She was an instructor for courses in Human Behaviour and Cognition.
Nehdia was an extraordinary person and a capable teacher, who will be long remembered by her collegues, students, family and friends. May God give them the courage to bear this great loss.
