About the Conference
The Asian Journal of Management Cases (AJMC) International Case Conference is a celebration of the case method in Asia and LUMS. The conference aims to provide a forum where participants have an opportunity to meet colleagues from other institutions in the region and learn from their experiences of teaching with the case method and case writing.
Case writers are invited to contribute works that capture real world managerial scenarios, which can be vehicles for learning about contemporary management. Conference Chair, Dr Shazib E. Shaikh welcomes all to attend this conference that will comprise case roundtables, case presentations, and interactive sessions on excellence in case writing. Furthermore, participants will also be invited to a tutorial workshop in which many fundamental case writing issues will be discussed in order to build case writing competencies. Since the main purpose of the conference is to provide case writers with an opportunity to exchange ideas and share experiences related to case teaching and writing, both first time case writers and seasoned case writers are encouraged to attend the conference. Cases submitted to the conference may be eligible for one or more awards. Selected cases will also be considered for publication in AJMC.
New case writers are encouraged to attend conference sessions on teaching and writing cases. Observers are welcome to attend roundtables or presentations and benefit from the discussions.
