LUMS Chemistry Professor Delivers Lecture at PAS

Dr. Irshad Hussain, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry delivered an invited lecture on “Nanostructured Materials – Synthesis and Applications” at Pakistan Academy of Sciences (PAS), Islamabad, on March 6, 2012. The lecture was very well attended, with more than 100 participants including PAS fellows and representatives of various universities and R & D institutions in Islamabad.

At the lecture, Dr. Hussain talked about the research activities of nanomaterials group at the Department of Chemistry, SSE LUMS, with a particular focus on the applications of nanomaterials in biotechnology, Nanomedicine, forensic science and advanced materials fabrication.
