Students Making Waves

Abdur Rahman Malik was offered a fellowship in John Molson School, Concordia University, Canada, funded by the Canadian Government. He is working with Dr. Terri Lituchy, Associate Professor, (Concordia University). The title of the project is LEAD (Leadership Effectiveness in African Diaspora). This is a research project to investigate the leadership and motivational issues in African countries and the African Diaspora in US, Canada and the Caribbean.

 

Muhammad Azeem Ali Shah authored a conference paper titled “The Effect of Technological Change on Working Relationships in Large Organisations.” It has been accepted at ICBME Conference, Bangkok, Thailand (January 2011).

 

Ashar Saleem’s research paper ‘An Institutional Explanation of Crossvergence was accepted by the Association of International Business (AIB), Conference held in San Diego, USA (24-30 June, 2009).

His paper was co-authored with Dr. Mehdi Farashahi of Concordia University and made it to AIB’s prestigious conference proceedings.

 

Muhammad Ayaz co-authored a case with Dr. Kamran Ali Chatha. The case titled, ‘Production Options at Prime Safety Limited’ was accepted for publication in the Asian Journal of Management cases (7:55, 2010).

 

Muhammad Shakeel Sadiq Jajja co-authored a research paper with Dr. Shaukat Brah.The research paper titled, ‘Impact of Strategic Supply Chain Management on Organisational Performance’ has been accepted for oral presentation at the 40th Annual Meeting of Western Decision Sciences Institute to be held at Portland,(USA) (Conference Date: 5-8 April, 2011).

 

Mohammad Kamran Mumtaz authored a conference paper titled, ‘Integrated Location and Inventory Problem in a three–tier Supply Chain’. It was accepted at the PMAC Conference, Canada (2010).

 

Faiza Muhammad co-authored a case with Dr. Farzad Rafi Khan. The case titled, ‘HRM at Affluent Advertising (Pvt) Ltd’ was accepted for publication in the Asian Journal of Management Cases (7:177, 2010).

 

Shoaib ul Haq co-authored a book chapter with Dr. Mehdi Farashahi. The research was accepted for publication in Routledge’s (UK) upcoming volume ‘LOCAL vs. GLOBAL LOGIC:The Multinational Enterprise in Developing Countries’. This book was published in 2010.
