LUMS IST and Communications Office Introduce Showcase

The LUMS Information Systems and Technology (IST) and the Communications Office jointly offer the LUMS community a unique opportunity to record their events and showcase them on LUMS website or other media.
The Showcase team offers to cover an event, a guest lecture, a dignitary’s visit, highlights of a conference at LUMS, produce a video clip to introduce, highlight or promote a department, academic programmes, projects, students commenting about their experiences at LUMS, or a web-based virtual tour showcasing buildings, labs or smart classrooms, and make it available on the video gallery at LUMS website and the LUMS YouTube Channel . Also, Showcase team provides the service of writing an article about the event, on request.
Through this initiative the external audience will have a sneak peek into life at LUMS. The videos of past events can also be shared with the team for editing and publishing on the LUMS Website/YouTube Channel.
Showcase is a useful tool for the LUMS community for recording their events, which can be later shown on various functions. This service is a great opportunity for the LUMS community to share with the rest of the world, its rich and colorful campus life.

Note: This service is not for recording regular lectures – there is already an established process for requesting and recording them.
