REDC Brings Finance Programme for Non-Financial Managers

Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) Programme on Finance for Non-Financial Managers (FNFM), led by Dr. Mubashir Ali - the Associate Professor at Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB), was organised at Sheraton Karachi from February 28 through March 3, 2012.
The intensive 5-day programme was this year's second offering of FNFM. It helped executives to master analytical techniques for project analysis, allocate resources more optimally and understand financial markets.
The programme attracted executives from diverse backgrounds and industry sectors including telecom, beverages and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs). The participants gave excellent feedback on the programme and acknowledged that they were now more informed and strategic users of financial data.
The programme talked about the importance of financial knowledge for today’s non-financial managers, where fast-paced business environment demands managers in every functional area need to understand basic financial principles to be more effective in performing their role at the organisation.
