LUMS Signs MoU with the University of Idaho
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by the Vice Chancellor LUMS, Dr. Adil Najam and Dr. Gleyn Bledsoe from the University of Idaho on Friday, April 27, 2012.
The idea is to foster friendly relationship between the two institutions through mutual collaboration and cooperation in the spheres of scientific research and education contributing to the development of communities/economies and to identify new avenues for knowledge creation.
The University of Idaho offers a rich and diverse mix of experience in the field of Management, Accounting, Economics, Social Sciences, Food Sciences, Agriculture and Life Sciences. The potential identified areas of mutual collaborations are; Business, Humanities, Social Sciences and Law, Science and Engineering. The formal agreements to allow for the contributions from both parties to finance specific action programmes will be drafted and reviewed in the future.
Regarding the agreement signed, it is hoped unanimously from both sides that this will lead to more interaction of students and faculty between the two universities.
LUMS welcomes University of Idaho on board and aspires to create value for the benefit and prospect of both institutions.
