LUMS Religious Society

The LUMS Religious Society (LRS) started its activities last year with a 'Ramadan Awareness Week' followed by three lectures about the various aspects of the holy month. A documentary "The collapse of the theory of evolution" by Harun Yahya, a prominent Turkish scholar, was shown. In addition to all this, Tajweed (proper pronunciation of Quranic Arabic) classes are held under the supervision of the Imam of the LUMS mosque. The society also organises lectures by religious scholars.
