Shahid Ramay

Dr. Shahid Ramay is currently working as Assistant Professor at LUMS. He received MSc Physics from Punjab University, MPhil from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, and has recently completed his PhD in Solid State Physics from the Centre of Excellence in Solid State Physics, Punjab University Lahore. During his PhD studies he spent 15 months at the Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) South Korea. Before joining LUMS, he served as lecturer in physics at different colleges. His areas of interest are magnetic ceramics, ferroelectrics and dilute magnetic semiconductors (DMS).
