Aamir Rashid

Aamir Rashid completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with honors from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in 2004. In 2005 he received Higher Education Commission of Pakistan scholarship to pursue Masters and PhD degrees from France. In 2006 he was awarded Masters Degree in Radio Frequency Telecommunications and Microelectronics from the University of Nice, Sophia Antipolis, France. Later that year he went on to work at a leading French research lab (Laboratory of Analysis and Architecture of Systems, LAAS) at Toulouse, France. There he worked towards finding efficient solutions for the electromagnetic modeling of planar arrays. In recognition of his research work he was awarded a doctorate degree from University of Toulouse (INP Toulouse), France in 2010. His doctorate thesis was accepted to be published by Lambert Academic Publishing LAP to make it available to a wider audience.
