OVERVIEW
Mathematics is the rigorous study of structure and relationship. As such, it is fundamental to all of the sciences and engineering, as well as being an intellectually challenging and fulfilling field of science in its own right. It trains students in analytical thinking and courses are offered with application to the natural and social sciences. Math majors from LUMS have gone on to work in industry in various multinationals, as well as pursuing higher studies in mathematics, economics and financial engineering.
* The medium of instruction at LUMS is English for all degree programmes offered. Assessments are accepted in English only.
