The LUMS Office of Alumni Relations is excited to share that in collaboration with the Career Services Office (CSO) and our very own Central Superior Services (CSS) Alumni Association, we are initiating a CSS Mentorship Series.
Ever year the number of LUMS graduates appearing for the CSS examinations increases, and more and more alumni and students incline themselves towards this career path. In light of this, we wanted to cater to our community’s needs and provide them with the support and resources required for such a hefty endeavour. We, and our alumni who are already serving after having passed CSS, are of the belief that the LUMS community should be counselled by officers from previous batches.
Hence, we will be conducting three modules under this mentorship series, and the first module of the CSS Mentorship Series has been finalised according to the schedule below:
Date: Tuesday, September 12, 2017
Venue: NIB Auditorium, Academic Block
This session will offer general guidance about selection of subject and books, and how to handle stress and manage your time. You will also have the opportunity to ask your senior CSS alumni any questions about exam preparation, and seek their guidance about the way forward. The CSS Alumni who will be conducting the session are:
1. Ejaz Sarwar BSc 14- PAS
2. Furqan Ashraf BSc 14- PAS
3. Shahzad Mehboob BSc 2012- PAS
4. Bilal Ahmed BS 14- PAS
5. Eesha Syed BSc 15- IG
Whether you are actively preparing for the CSS examination, are planning to pursue it sometime soon, or are merely considering the possibility of it, we encourage you to attend this incredibly informative session. It’ll be all the help you need under one roof!
