Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) is coming to LUMS to conduct their Summer Internship Programme 2017 as per the following schedule.

PSDF is dedicated to creating better livelihood opportunities for the youth from underprivileged backgrounds. Their aim is to shape young minds and instill in them a sense of purpose and pride. They are offering a paid internship opportunity (Option 1: 6 weeks; Option 2: 8 weeks) that has been carefully designed to provide a wholesome learning experience and insight into the development sector. Opportunities are available in the following departments:
1. Strategy & BD
2. Partnerships & Placements
3. Monitoring & Evaluation
4. Programme Development
Students are requested to bring along their CV as PSDF will be collecting CVs on spot for jobs opportunities (for Senior students) and internships (for Junior students). It would be great platform to connect with the PSDF senior management as all department HOD’s and CEO himself would be there at the session.
Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF) is a section 42 not-for-profit company established in 2010 under the Companies Ordinance 1984 by the Government of the Punjab in partnership with the UK’s Department for International Development (DFID, UK). The World Bank is also providing funds to the Punjab Government for the trainings to be funded by PSDF. PSDF aims to provide quality skills and vocational training opportunities to the poor and vulnerable populations of all the 36 districts of Punjab in order to improve livelihood prospects for them. Since its establishment in 2011, PSDF has trained 150,000 youth in over 200 trades and it works with over 250 private and public sector training providers. Over the next 5 years, they will be training over 400,000 youth across Punjab who will be employed in Pakistan and abroad.
