Naima Hafeez joined the Department of Economics as a Teaching Fellow in September 2015. A Noon Scholar, she holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford (2015), and BSc (hon) in Economics and Mathematics from LUMS (2013), where she graduated as the top student in her batch.
Research interests include Family Economics and Microeconometrics. Her MPhil thesis at Oxford "Son Preference and Gender-biased Breastfeeding in Pakistan" has recently been accepted for publication at Economic Development and Cultural Change (Vol. 66, No. 2). She soon plans to pursue Ph.D. in Economics.
She is currently teaching Econometrics to undergraduate students and is thoroughly enjoying the experience.
