Dr. Zohaib Atiq Khan is an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering Department University of Engineering and Technology (New Campus) Lahore and Adjunct Faculty in Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) . He has done PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Waterloo, ON, Canada. His research area is related with modelling and optimization of electro-chemical energy storage devices. He is the author and pioneer of many groundbreaking algorithms in pore network modelling field to efficiently simulate porous structures in lithium ion batteries. He is involved in undergraduate and postgraduate studies in LUMS and UET Lahore. Currently, his main focus is to enhance the performance of lithium ion batteries in electric vehicles to cut down fossil fuel consumption to mitigate poisonous environmental effects in mega cities of Pakistan.
