House of Habib (HoH) conducted a recruitment drive for their Habib Metro Management Trainee Programme on March 4, 2020 at the Suleman Dawood School of Business, LUMS.
Ms. Muneeba Qasim, Head Training and Organizational Development at HoH started off the session by introducing herself and her team. Mr. Taha Abbasi, Head Talent Acquisition, Habib Metro played an introductory video of the House of Habib which explained the journey from the establishment of the bank till date. “House of Habib plays a pivotal role in shaping the economics of Pakistan through its portfolio of businesses in the automotive, auto parts, building materials, energy, packaging and real estate sectors. They add value to over 15 million lives each day by creating sustainable solutions in key areas with investments that are impacting both stakeholders and the community at large,” shared Mr. Abbasi.
He explained the kind of exposure and opportunities one would get at Habib Metro Bank such as the opportunity to work and learn across various functions, interaction with senior leadership and international exposure though the bank’s presence across the globe. He briefly highlighted what the Habib Metro Management Trainee Programme offers.
Mr. Quaid Ahmed Khan, Relationship Manager-Corporate and Transaction Banking shared this successful journey from an MTO to a Relationship Manager and spoke about the challenges he faced and what kept him motivated during this journey. He urged the students to apply for the progamme.
Ms. Shifa Hasnain, Chief Manager Talent Acquisition shared the recruitment process which includes, online test, screening interviews, assessment centre and final interview with the senior leadership. The session was concluded with an interactive Q&A session followed by an online test.
