Latest from OIA  LUMS at the IDP Educational Leadership Summit in Malaysia OIA had the privilege of participating in the IDP Education Leadership Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in November 2025. The summit brought together higher education leaders from across the region to discuss collaboration, student mobility, and future-ready educational strategies. |  LUMS at the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor Education Expos in Bangladesh The Expos were held in Dhaka and Chittagong by the Pakistan High Commission in Dhaka in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. They brought together representatives from over 15 top Pakistani universities and highlighted higher education opportunities for Bangladeshi students. |
 OIA Open House Fall 2025
OIA's Fall 2025 Open House provided students with a comprehensive overview of the exciting international opportunities available to them. The event aimed to familiarize students with global programs designed to enrich their academic and professional journeys. |  LUMS Outreach in the GCC Region
The outreach visit to the GCC region, aimed at strengthening partnerships and expanding international engagement. The delegation participated in two major higher education events: the three-day Najah Education Expo held at the World Trade Centre, Dubai, and the UniConnect Expo in Riyadh. |

 OIA Events  | Broadening Horizons Session by Mr. Waqar Baig The session proved to be an incredibly valuable experience for students, providing them with a deep understanding of international scholarships and higher education opportunities. Mr. Baig discussed prestigious scholarships by universities in the USA, UK, Europe, and Asia, and explained the importance of building strong academic profiles, writing effective personal statements, and preparing for interviews. |
Information Session by Campus France The information session provided students with valuable insights into pursuing higher education opportunities in France. Representatives from Campus France guided attendees through the application process for French universities, highlighting key eligibility criteria and important deadlines. |  |

The representative from the British Council guided attendees through the array of scholarships, application processes, eligibility criteria, and important deadlines. Some of the opportunities discussed during his session included the Chevening Scholarship, GREAT Scholarships, and the Charles Wallace Visiting Fellowship Programme. |
OIA's Lunch with RO and Academic Coordinators OIA had a wonderful afternoon hosting a casual lunch at the Office of International Affairs with our Academic Coordinators and colleagues from the Registrar’s Office to thank everyone for their hard work, collaboration, and constant support in making our exchange programs a success.

 OIA Visits  | University College Dublin Visited OIA
Professor Eleni Mangina and Ms. Nusrat Bashir from University College Dublin met the Office of International Affairs team, Dr. Walther Schwarzacher (Dean, SSE), and Dr. Naveed Arshad (Director, NCBC). The meeting explored exciting avenues for potential Phd researchers exchange and research collaborations with UCD Science.

Manchester Metropolitan University Visited OIA The representatives from Manchester Metropolitan University visited the Office of International Affairs. They engaged in insightful discussions with the OIA team, exploring potential research collaborations and exchange programs between LUMS and MMU. Their visit marked a valuable step towards strengthening academic ties and exploring new opportunities for our students and faculty.

In Fall 2025, 31 LUMS students participated in exchange programs at our esteemed partner universities across the globe. These opportunities not only allowed our students to gain international academic exposure but also strengthened LUMS’ global presence and partnerships. |
