Office of Research

The Office of Research (OR) at LUMS fosters a strong research culture by supporting faculty in securing both external and internal funding, while actively identifying opportunities to advance impactful research across the University. OR has facilitated numerous external grants and consultancy projects, alongside a significant number of internal research grants awarded to faculty across diverse disciplines. These efforts highlight LUMS’ commitment to promoting innovative and interdisciplinary research. LUMS’ growing research output and impact have also contributed to its international recognition, ranking 535th globally and 115th in Asia in the QS World University Rankings 2025, affirming its status as a leading academic and research institution. The Office of Research remains dedicated to nurturing a supportive research environment at LUMS. By facilitating funding and championing high-impact research, OR continues to strengthen the University’s research ecosystem. Looking ahead, OR aims to expand research opportunities and contribute further to academic excellence and societal progress.
