Advisory Board
In January 2019, the University Advisory Board (UAB) came together for its first week-long meeting and met with the trustees and senior management at LUMS. Since then, the UAB has guided LUMS to forge new pathways in realising a vision that will serve generations for decades to come.

Ms. Rosovsky is Dean’s Administrative Fellow at Harvard Business School. Ms. Rosovsky also served as Harvard's Vice President for strategy and programs. Prior to her appointment as executive administrative dean at Tufts, she served in Harvard’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences as the associate dean for administrative planning and as the senior officer for administration.

Dr. Altbach is J. Donald Monan, S.J. University Professor and Director of the Center for International Higher Education in the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. He was the 2004–2006 Distinguished Scholar Leader for the New Century Scholars initiative of the Fulbright program and has been a senior associate of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

Dr. Adler is the S. Bronfman Chair in Management at McGill University. She conducts research on global leadership, cross-cultural management, and the arts and leadership. Dr. Adler has also consulted with major global companies and government organisations on projects in Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East. Canada has honored Professor Adler by inducting her into the Royal Society of Canada.

Dr. Bloom is Clarence James Gamble Professor of Economics and Demography in the Department of Global Health and Population at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Bloom is an economist whose work focuses on health, demography, education, and labor. He currently serves as a Faculty Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and is a member of the Board of Directors of PSI and of the Board of Trustees of amfAR, the Foundation for AIDS Research.
- Dr. Khalid AzizOtto N. Miller Professor Emeritus of Energy Resources Engineering,Stanford University, USA
Dr. Aziz is the Otto N. Miller Professor Emeritus of Energy Resources Engineering, Stanford University, USA. He has served as the Chair of the Petroleum Engineering Department and as Associate Dean for Research in the School of Earth Sciences at Stanford University among various other roles. He is also a member of the National Academy of Engineers and a distinguished member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Dr. Moran is Professor and Provost Emeritus at the University of Western Ontario, serving from 1977 through 2015. Dr. Moran is a member of both the Clinical and Developmental groups within the Department of Psychology and recently, became Executive Director of Academics Without Borders which supports universities in developing countries to build intellectual, administrative and social capital.

Dr. Khan, MD, is Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Life Biosciences Inc. Dr. Khan previously served as Global Vice Chairman and Chief Scientific Officer of Global Research and Development at PepsiCo, where he played a pivotal role in the company’s global R&D efforts to create breakthrough innovations in food, beverages, and nutrition. He serves as Chairman of the U.S. Council on Competitiveness in Washington DC and as Chairman Emeritus of the U.S. Pakistan Business Council, U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

Dr. Chalmers is Professor Emeritus in the field of higher education, teaching and learning. She has led two university Centers of Teaching and Learning as Director and was a Foundation Director of the Carrick Institute (later ALTC) with specific responsibility for Awards, Fellowships and International Links. She has served as President and then as Vice President of the Council of Australian Directors of Academic Development (CADAD) 2008-2014.

Dr. Wilkinson is a Distinguished University Professor and the Provost & Vice-President, Academic at McMaster University. He also served as Chair of the Department of Materials Science & Engineering and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at McMaster University. Dr. Wilkinson was the Founding Director of the McMaster Centre for Automotive Materials and is principal investigator for the Initiative for Automotive Manufacturing Innovation (iAMi) – a $46-million research collaboration.
- Dr. Maria YudkevichHead of the Center for Institutional Studies,HSE University
Dr. Yudkevich is Vice-Rector of National Research University Higher School of Economics in Moscow, Russia (HSE University) and Head of the Center for Institutional Studies at HSE. As Vice Rector, she coordinates basic research at HSE and is responsible for design and implementation of HSE instruments aimed to support, enhance and monitor faculty research productivity.

Prof. Robinson currently teaches at Pace University where he holds the titles of University Professor on the Environment; Gilbert and Sarah Kerlin Distinguished Professor of Environmental Law Emeritus; and Co-Director, Global Center for Environmental Legal Studies. Professor Robinson is Chair Emeritus of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law, serving from 1996 to 2004.

His areas of expertise are in design and control of production systems, supply chain management, stochastic modelling, and business model innovation. Barış Tan is the recipient of Turkish Academy of Sciences Distinguished Young Scholar Award, TUBITAK fellowship, NATO Science Fellowship, and best paper awards for his publications.
He received a BS degree in Electrical&Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University, and ME in Industrial and Systems Engineering, MSE in Manufacturing Systems, and PhD in Operations Research from the University of Florida. He has been working at Koç University since 1994 and previously served as the the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of College of Administrative Sciences and Economics and the Director of the Graduate School of Business. He held visiting positions at Harvard University – Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences, MIT – Operations Research Center, MIT – Laboratory for Manufacturing and Productivity, University of Cambridge – Judge Business School, University College London – School of Management, and Politecnico di Milano – Manufacturing and Production Systems.
