SESSION 5: Why should I be Responsible?

Dr. Zehra Waheed invites the students to join a conversation on responsibility from the notion of corporate responsibility to responsible education to the centrality of the individual as an ethical leader.

Let’s see what we can learn about some fundamental questions regarding contemporary management practice in this 75-minute session, which is all about you!

What you will learn:

  1. Can leadership be positivist and value-less?
  2. Does exercising responsibility reduce the prospects of success?
  3. Is the individual a solitary entity or an actor in a complex network of systems – and how does that impact the notion of ‘leadership’ and being ‘ successful’?
