Ms. Mahrukh Baig has joined us as a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences - (MGSHSS).
Ms. Baig is a Master of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics from the University of Management and Technology. Moreover, she has studied Systemic Functional Linguistics at Cardiff University, Wales. She has composed many articles that are reflective of her work on contemporary linguistics and language pedagogy. Besides research publications in multiple International Journals based in Germany, Australia, USA, and India, her Doctoral research lies in an exciting and innovative domain of Communicative Silence, which was highly acclaimed at Harvard, Massachusetts. She has a passion for teaching and enjoys traveling and sports in her leisure time. Prior to joining LUMS, she was working with the University of Management and Technology as a Lecturer of English.
