Dr. Afsheen Salahuddin is a certified English Language Instructor with a commitment to the advancement of English language teaching.Currently, she is serving as an adjunct faculty member at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) Writing and Communication Stream and as visiting Assistant Professor at Lahore College for Women University.

Dr. Salahuddin did the Cert-TESOL Level from Trinity College London. She has also undertaken specialized TESOL and English language courses from the Oxford University Teachers Training Department, which further solidify her teaching credentials. Her academic journey includes a PhD in Education (TESOL) from Lahore College for Women University, where her thesis focused on the impact of confidence enhancement techniques in spoken English on students' confidence in higher education. She also holds an M.Phil in English Language Teaching from Kinnaird College, Lahore, and an M.A. in English Literature from the University of the Punjab.Dr. Salahuddin has served in several prestigious institutions in Lahore  since 2015 including Punjab University, Beaconhouse National University and University of Central Punjab. 

Her role extends beyond teaching; her research work is well- recognized, with numerous publications in national and international journals.

Some of her notable research includes studies on the use of authentic texts to enhance reading comprehension in ESL learners, assessing verbal English anxiety in higher education students, and the effectiveness of learning management systems in teaching English.She has served as the  research article reviewer for VFAST Transactions journal on Education and Social Sciences.

Additionally, she has served as research article reviewer and  language editor for the Journal of Arts and Social Sciences (JASS) at Lahore College for Women University.

She is also serving as assistant manager HR at ENGLISHERS LLL, IKSAD Turkey.

Dr. Salahuddin is a sought-after speaker and has presented her research at various national and international conferences. She has been a keynote speaker, panelist, and seminar conductor, sharing her insights on contemporary educational practices. 

Dr Salahuddin's debut novelette titled "Cover" based on mental health has been published from. Lahore, Pakistan.
