Anyone who donates a gift of any amount will receive a receipt from LUMS. The receipt is generated once the donation has been processed and is emailed to the donor's registered email address.

Will I receive a receipt for my donation to LUMS?
Can I make an anonymous donation?
Yes. To remain anonymous, you can go to our donation portal and select the option “Yes” under “Would you like to remain anonymous (*)”in the Donor Information section.
Is my contribution Zakat eligible?
Yes. If you donate towards “Give a Day to LUMS – Zakat”, it will be allocated towards our students who are Zakat eligible.
Is my donation eligible for tax benefits?
Your donation is eligible for tax benefits if you are donating form either Pakistan or the USA.
LUMS is recognised as a not-for-profit institution under Section 2(36) of Pakistan’s Income Tax Ordinance, 2001. Any individual or organisation making donations to LUMS within Pakistan is entitled to a tax credit under Section 61 of the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.
Donations made from within the USA through "Friends of LUMS - USA Association (FOL)" are also entitled to tax benefits, since FOL is a tax-exempt entity registered under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS Code. How can I donate to LUMS?
You can donate through your debit/credit card, inter-bank funds transfer or a cheque in favour of “Lahore University of Management Sciences” from anywhere in Pakistan. If you are donating from outside of Pakistan, you can make your gift via PayPal or your credit card.
If you are based in USA, you also have the option to donate through Benevity, a donation platform that matches your giving and doubles the impact of your gift!
