Subject: Update for Administrative Staff
Dear Colleagues,
During the three week emergency closure period that is before us, and possibly beyond, LUMS administrative staff members will play an important role to continue our core operations. The likelihood of longer closures is high and changes in faculty support can be expected. We must therefore start thinking about how we can creatively anticipate and prepare ourselves for rapidly changing demands on our work.
During this emergency situation, in order to safeguard your health while also ensuring that University operations continue smoothly, your HoD will direct you on whether you will work on campus, in rotation and through other modalities.
If you are advised to work from home, there may be additional responsibilities you will need to assume in order to balance the work demands in your department. The discretion will remain with your HoD, who will inform you tomorrow on what is expected from you from Monday onwards.
