Dr. Tan is a Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management at Özyeğin University, Istanbul, Türkiye. Previously, he served as a professor of operations management and industrial engineering, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics, and the Director of the Graduate School of Business at Koç University. Prof. Tan has received the Turkish Academy of Sciences Distinguished Young Scholar Award, TUBITAK fellowship, NATO Science Fellowship, and best paper awards for his publications.
