NED Alumni Association Establishes Scholarship Fund for MBA Students
In the spirit of giving back, the NED Alumni Association of Houston, Texas, has established a scholarship fund to support the studies of one MBA student at LUMS.
This scholarship, set up by the association representing a group of NED graduates based in Houston, will be offered to students who have completed their undergraduate degree from NED University of Engineering and Technology. The criteria is that the student must qualify for an interest-free loan under the LUMS Financial Aid Programme and have received an unconditional offer of admission from the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) at LUMS for enrolment into the MBA programme.
The NED Alumni Association believes that economic disparity forces a great number of talented students in Pakistan to compromise or entirely give up on their goals in life. The scholarship has been established to provide equitable education opportunities to underprivileged but talented students in order to bring them at par with other students and to enable them to contribute to the development of the country.
The generous contribution of the NED Alumni Association will support LUMS in its aim of transforming communities by making quality education attainable for talented students.
