REDC Conducts a Series of Successful Live Online Executive Programmes for MOL Pakistan
Under its custom initiatives, the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) hosted two cohorts of an executive programme for MOL Pakistan’s high potential middle and upper middle cadre from across various divisions. With an aim to equip participants with the skills and best practices of negotiating at multiple levels, overcoming conflicts and communicating advantageously to operate and perform at a higher strategic level, the programme exposed participants to contemporary team building frameworks, understanding communication styles and personality types, building trust in cross-functional teams, intra-organisational collaboration and personal effectiveness.
Directed by renowned LUMS faculty, Dr. Arif Nazir Butt and Dr. Adnan Zahid and joined in teaching by Dr. Khawaja Zain ul Abdin, the three-day programme exposed participants to a hands-on approach to learning through self-assessment exercises and immersive and interactive simulations. The programme also incorporated case studies from global markets to explore best practices and emerging trends and challenges in the industry for building a high performance culture.
The programme was well received by the participants who lauded the faculty’s expertise and ability to impart knowledge as well as REDC’s online learning platform.
M. Shahzad Talha, Chief Petroleum Engineer, MOL Pakistan, shared his experience of the programme. “One of the best designed programmes I have attended that considers the learning need of the participants, and ensures full involvement throughout the course,” he said.
Ammar Imran, Procurement Officer, MOL Pakistan, expressed a similar sentiment. “The REDC programme experience was excellent; more than what I had heard. The way of teaching, communication along with case studies, examples and videos was superior. The main thing was that there was no language barrier or formality for us while presenting our point of view,” he commented.
