Afiniti Virtual Recruitment Drive

Afiniti conducted their virtual recruitment drive on Monday, March 8, 2021 on the Cisco Webex in which they targeted BSc, BS and PhD students from the graduating class of 2021.

The session started by Mr. Fahad Asif Farooqi, Senior Manager Talent Acquisition at Afiniti by introducing his team. Then Ms. Kathy Campion, Vice President Talent Acquisition took over and shared the brief history of the company. She said that Afiniti is the world’s leading applied artificial intelligence and advanced analytics provider. It operates throughout the world, and has measurably driven billions of dollars in incremental value to its clients. She also shared that Afiniti has over 150 deployments in major enterprises across a range of sectors, including telecommunications, insurance, financial services, hospitality and healthcare, and has optimised more than 600,000 agents and 700 million customers.

Ms. Campion then said that the company brings in groundbreaking solutions using artificial intelligence as they have a very unique market model. She further shared that the company is looking for brilliant young talent who are technology-driven, bring in new creative ideas and are passionate about technology.

Then Mr. Umair Mustafa, LUMS alum, and Vice President Artificial Intelligence & Data Analytics talked to the audience and shared requirements for the production team. He further said that Calculus, Probability, Machine Learning and Linear Algebra are few core requirements to work for the data analytics team.

Later, Mr. Fahad explained the hiring process by telling the students that it includes cognitive assessments, technical assessments, interview rounds and the onboarding process. He also encouraged students to apply for Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics positions as per the set eligibility criteria.
