LUMS is home to a diverse community and welcomes talented students from around the world. To further its mission of making education accessible, the University offers a number of financial support options for international students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Shahid Hussain Foundation Scholarship

The Shahid Hussain Foundation was set-up in 2016 to lend support to institutions providing education and/or healthcare services to the underprivileged members of Lahore’s community.

In 2017, the Shahid Hussain Foundation Scholarship was established for international undergraduate students who are nationals of SAARC member countries (excluding Pakistan). This Scholarship supports the University’s vision, and enables students from abroad to study at LUMS.

To avail this Scholarship, applicants are required to apply to the University through the LUMS Online Admission application and complete the form. Relevant supporting documents must also be submitted by the given deadline.

Asian Development Bank - Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP)

LUMS is the only institution in Pakistan that offers the Asian Development Bank - Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP). Under this scholarship scheme, LUMS, in collaboration with ADB-JSP, provides ADB’s developing members in Asia and the Pacific the opportunity to benefit from the University’s prestigious MBA programme.

In order to be considered for ADB-JSP, students are required to apply for financial aid when applying for admission at LUMS.
