A renowned computer scientist and entrepreneur, Muneeb earned his PhD in Computer Science from Princeton University after graduating from LUMS. His research on distributed systems and decentralised computing laid the foundation for Stacks, a leading blockchain network that enables developers to build smart contracts, decentralised applications, and digital assets.
Muneeb also co-founded Hiro, a developer tools company for the Stacks ecosystem, and Trust Machines, an organisation dedicated to expanding blockchain applications. His pioneering work includes leading the first SEC-qualified public token offering in the United States.
Muneeb remains closely connected to LUMS through his generous support for blockchain education, research, and innovation. His contributions continue to create opportunities for students and strengthen Pakistan’s technology ecosystem.
