The Centre for Chinese Legal Studies is pleased to invite you to the next session of the CCLS Talk Series '25, organised in collaboration with Peking University (PKU) Law School, Beijing. This session will explore the topic 'Understanding Cross-border Arbitration and Mediation: Insights from a Chinese Perspective.'
About the Speakers:
Professor Zhang Zhiyong is an expert in international financial law, international taxation, WTO and trade law, EU law, and international arbitration. He received his LL.B, LL.M, and PhD from Peking University and currently oversees PKU Law School’s postgraduate programme in international arbitration.
Professor Cao Zhixun specialises in civil procedure, law of evidence, commercial dispute resolution, and comparative legal systems. He holds an LL.B, LL.M, and PhD from Peking University and teaches several courses in the postgraduate dispute resolution programme at PKU Law School.
This session will offer valuable insights into dispute resolution practices and cross-border legal cooperation, with a focus on Chinese perspectives and their relevance in international contexts.
