As the closing programme of the Lahore Biennale’s third edition, the Climate Congress offers a platform for South-South dialogue around the role of the arts and humanities to meaningfully contribute to wider efforts to generate awareness and support for imagining sustainable futures.
The panel talk titled 'Climate Narratives: Storytelling, Advocacy and Environmental Justice' will be held as part of the Climate Congress at LUMS on November 8, 2024.
It will feature three sections:
- South Asian Fiction and Converging Climate Catastrophes by Dr. Saba Pirzadeh, Associate Professor at LUMS
- The Climate Crisis and Our Future by Ahmed Rafay Alam, Lawyer
- But What About Climate Justice Within? by Dr. Fazilda Nabeel, Adjunct Faculty at LUMS
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Sana Khosa, Assistant Professor at LUMS.
