Faiz Ahmed Faiz touched millions of hearts around the world by exhibiting masterful ingenuity in his writings. He is the only poet of Pakistan who wrote about hope in the times of suffering and sorrow. His poetry resonates a sense of looking forward and being hopeful in spite of the difficulties one may face. The current pandemic is a time when most of us are struggling but life can become easier if one holds on to that elusive yet powerful feeling called ‘hope’.
We invite you to join us for the thirteenth session of LUMS Live: Faiz: Our Poet of Hope as our panelists revisit the teachings of Faiz and discuss the life and poetry of the great poet to keep the spirit of optimism flourishing.
