The Centre for Business and Society (CBS) at LUMS, in collaboration with Kaarvan Crafts Foundation, Shirakat – Partnership for Development, and the British Asian Trust, warmly invites you to “Women Microenterprise Exhibition: #BridgingTheGap", a vibrant one-day celebration of indigenous craft, culture, and the entrepreneurial spirit of Pakistan’s resilient women.
The event will bring together over 75+ women artisans from across Pakistan to showcase their handcrafted products, stories, and spirit. This unique platform bridges the rural-urban divide by connecting micro-entrepreneurs from the grassroots with urban communities and fostering appreciation, understanding, and support for local craftsmanship.
This event also marks the successful culmination of eight transformative cycles of the #BridgingTheGap series, digital and life skills workshops conducted by CBS-LUMS in collaboration with Kaarvan Crafts Foundation. These sessions have empowered female micro-entrepreneurs with tools for digital literacy, mental wellness, business, and life skills, along with climate resilience.
This is not just an exhibition; it is a celebration of resilience, a call for recognition, and a chance to be part of something lasting. Let’s come together to support and amplify the voices of women shaping the future through craft and community.
