LUMS National Outreach Programme Visits Faisalabad

The NOP Team recently conducted successful outreach sessions in Faisalabad and adjourning cities, including Toba Tek Singh, Nakana Sahab, Jhang and Chenab Nagar. The team visited and established connections with twenty new colleges. They interacted with 1575 students from different schools and colleges, reaching out to young minds and inspiring them to pursue their academic dreams.
During the outreach, the NOP team advised student counsellors inside colleges to encourage their male and female students to apply for the NOP scholarship and study at LUMS. Special emphasis was placed on encouraging female students to apply.
The team also held motivational sessions for students from arts and commerce backgrounds, highlighting the opportunities available at LUMS for students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. The team shared success stories of LUMS students and alums, inspiring intermediate level students to dream big and work towards achieving their goals.
In addition to these efforts, the NOP team met with Mr. Munawar Bukhari, Deputy Director, Higher Education Office, District Chenab Nagar, and briefed him about the NOP Scholarship and how it enables students from across Pakistan to fulfil their dream of studying at LUMS.
The NOP team’s visit was a great success, and they are committed to continuing their outreach efforts and reaching out to more young minds to inspire them to pursue higher education and achieve their goals through LUMS-NOP.
