LUMS Signs MoU with Superior University for Co-Curricular Activities
To promote inter-institutional collaboration and enhance the student experience, the Office of Co-curricular Activities (CCA) at LUMS signed an MoU with the Engagement Office at Superior University, Lahore. By supporting cooperation between student societies, the MoU will help the students learn from each other, build leadership and governance skills and increase the scope of student activities.
The MoU signing ceremony was held at Superior University, and was attended by Ms. Hiba Zakai, Head of Department CCA; Ms. Farkhanda Khan, Assistant Manager CCA and the President of the LUMS Community Services Society. Representing Superior University were Mr. Ehtisham Amir, Director, Office of Engagement and Communication; Mr. M. Ahmed Kahloon, Manager Student Engagement and Ms. Sana Sheheryar, Manager PR and Outreach Engagement Office.
Emphasising the importance of collaborations between universities, Ms. Zakai stated, “In Pakistan, student affairs and co-curriculum is a developing service and pedagogy. Such initiatives can help educational institutions initiate projects at the national level, share experiences and best-practices, and promote positive activities and services for the students.”
