There has been an enormous increase in the computational investigation of multidisciplinary problems. The computational software dealing with such problems requires a strong mathematical foundation. Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI) is the area of engineering that deals with the numerical simulation and analysis of fluid flow interacting in the solids. The major disciplines that lie within FSI are bioengineering, mechanical, automobile, aeronautical, civil, environmental, and so on. There is an immense need to understand and apply the techniques to solve a variety of design, analysis, and optimisation problems.
This workshop is aimed at junior or senior students pursuing their undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering, as well as graduate students.
