SOE Partners with Taleemabad for National Institute of Teacher Excellence Project
The Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education (SOE), in partnership with Orenda (Taleemabad), has undertaken the National Institute of Teacher Excellence (NIETE) project to explore the challenges, gaps, and demands related to the professional development of educators in federal public schools.
As part of this PKR 10 million initiative, SOE and Taleemabad will design and develop teacher training programmes that address the needs of novice and in-service educators at the primary school level in information and communications technology (ICT). The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training is directly engaged with the working partners.
Taleemabad, meaning 'city of education', is an animated series aligned with Pakistan’s national curriculum. Students can access it through an app, television, or physical books.
The collaboration aims to equip primary-level educators with effective, ICT-based training solutions that enhance teaching and learning in alignment with national education goals.
