This virtual conference brings together a number of experts in the field of Urdu and Persian studies; the talks explore a range of questions such as literary translation, Dastan and Qissa traditions in a historical context, and Persianate influence on Indic culture.
In addition to the talks by esteemed scholars, we are also excited to host two workshops for advanced undergraduates and postgraduate students working in the field of translation studies and literary studies more broadly.
