Why attend?
This session focuses on the crucial aspects of the animal community, its welfare and charting out an effective future course of action in the country. Expert panelists will have an in-depth conversation about the animal community (wildlife, livestock and domestic) in Pakistan.
The discussion will focus on the current animal welfare efforts being made across the country, the development of a sustainable model for animal welfare and the legal developments in this regard. It will also touch upon the impact of the floods on the livestock and animals, and chart out policies to cultivate empathy among the masses for animals, promote TNVR (trap, neuter, vaccinate and release) efforts while also proposing a legal framework to strengthen efforts for animal welfare on a local and national scale.
Hosted in collaboration with the Centre for Business and Society (CBS), the session will be moderated by Mr. Altamush Saeed.
