Adding to its Innovative Learning Methodologies, REDC Introduces Hybrid Programmes
While most organisations in the world struggle to get through the restrictive grasp of the pandemic, it is even more pertinent for their executives to acquire the knowledge and skills required to deal with the challenges arising from this situation.
Viewing this scenario as an opportunity to enhance its capacity for imparting critical skills to executives, the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC), LUMS has developed and adopted various learning methodologies to ensure that the journey of knowledge dissemination continues.
The Centre launched its first suite of hybrid programmes in January, where some of the participants of the Fuel Leadership Academy were invited to join through the online medium, while others attended the in-person session at REDC.
“The programme was very thought-provoking and challenging to the status quo. I could not attend it at REDC, but still, the experience was superb thanks to the brilliant planning and use of the digital platform by the REDC team,” shared programme participant, Syed Badar Ali, Manager Operations & Audit.
REDC’s hybrid platform is designed to facilitate interactive learning through deliberation on real-world business situations, allowing participants to deal with complex problems and explore prospective solutions in a collaborative e-learning environment along with their peers.
Conducted under its custom initiatives, the 5th module of Fuel Leadership Academy on Branding and Marketing in the Digital World from January 12 to 14, 2021 was designed to meet current challenges of the Telecom Industry and encompassed an overview of marketing functions, consumer behaviour, and brand strategy for meeting the challenges of the digital world.
Led by Dr. Zain ul Abdin Khawaja and joined in teaching by Dr. Adnan Zahid and Mr. Luqman Awan, during the 3-days engagement, the programme exposed participants to designing customer centric products, pricing and market identification, branding, positioning and advertising through traditional channels and in the digital world.
“A highly organised programme with very high standards of cleanliness for COVID times. The programme itself is very engaging and insightful. It has been an amazing learning experience. Not only has it helped me refresh my concepts, it has also inspired me to explore the subject further,” said programme participant, Ahmed Tahir, Senior Manager HR.
With an extended portfolio of Live, In-person and Hybrid programmes, REDC aims to provide its clientele with flexible and innovative learning solutions.
