Coca-Cola Icecek Conduct Virtual Recruitment Drive for Their Management Trainee Program
Coca-Cola Icecek (CCI) Pakistan conducted its virtual recruitment drive on April 8, 2021 through Zoom. They targeted graduating students of BS/MS Electrical Engineering, MS Economics, and MBA.
Ms. Sharood Zafar, Talent Manager, initiated the session with a brief plan of the proceedings and then invited Abdullah Uneeb, Organizational Development Executive, to come forward and give an introduction of the company. He also briefed the participants about the organization, the CCI system, and what the company produces, distributes, and sells.
Ms. Batool Naqvi, HR Business Partner - Commercial and Support Functions, and LUMS alumnus, was then invited to share her experience. She elaborated on the company’s products and its functions that include General Management, Finance, Sales, HR, Supply Chain, Marketing and Digital Technologies. She highlighted the company’s vision and how to create value for the customer. She also shared an interesting video showing the culture at CCI.
Further, Ms. Zafar came forward to explain the Management Trainee Program (MT), including programme timeline and learning intervention. The significance of the MT Program was then shared through their 6 step recruitment plan. Ms. Zafar then shared a video of Management Trainees sharing their experience and the exposure during work.
Mr. Faisal Imtiaz, Territory HR Business Partner, shared the eligibility criteria for the Management Trainee Program with the students. CCI also has a Golden Ticket scheme for the candidates applying for the MT Program, so Mr. Imtiaz also shared the process of how applicants can avail this opportunity. The winners of Golden Ticket get the chance to waive off the first three steps of their recruitment process.
At the end, Ms. Hina Zahid, Head of HR Supply Chain, shared her experience of the company's strategies with the participants. The session then concluded with a very interactive Question and Answer session.
