An Evening to Remember - SAHSOL celebrates new faculty members and expansion of the School building

The students, staff and faculty at the Shaikh Ahmad Hassan School of Law (SAHSOL) gathered on March 3, 2022 to celebrate the achievement of several incredible milestones. This celebration marked the completion of the SAHSOL building’s second floor, which will house the Center for Chinese Legal Studies, as well as new classrooms, faculty offices, designated spaces for Research and Teaching Assistants and other collaborative learning spaces.
Additionally, SAHSOL welcomed six new faculty members as it expands its physical and intellectual capacities. These include Assistant Professors Dr Sarah Humayun, Dr Sheharyar Sikander Hamid, Ms Marva Khan and Mr Asad Farooq as well as Visiting Assistant Professors Ms Hiba Akbar, and Ms Madiha Tallat. Lastly, the School announced the launch of the Legal Writing Lab, a student-led initiative that aims to offer support with legal writing and research specifically catered for law students.
