LUMS’ EMBA Programme Ranked #14 in Asia–Pacific by QS Rankings 2024

LUMS is proud to announce that the Executive MBA (EMBA) programme at the Suleman Dawood School of Business (SDSB) has been ranked 14th in the Asia–Pacific region and 111–120 globally in the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2024, cementing its position as a premiere educational institute driving innovation in Pakistan.
This recognition by the prestigious Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) University Rankings marks a significant improvement in the international standing of LUMS’ EMBA programme; in 2023, the programme ranked 25th in the Asia–Pacific region and 121–130 globally.
“This ranking is a testament to SDSB’s unwavering commitment to excellence in business education,” stated Dr. Shakeel Sadiq Jajja, Associate Professor and Associate Dean, Graduate Programmes, at SDSB. He emphasised that this accomplishment reflects the dedication and hard work of LUMS’ accomplished research-active faculty and exceptional student body, as well as the vibrant culture and ecosystem that LUMS fosters.

The QS Executive MBA Rankings assess universities worldwide based on five major indicators: Career Outcomes, Diversity, Employer Reputation, Executive Profile and Thought Leadership. This year, the EMBA programme at SDSB boasts an impressive 90 per cent score in the Career Outcomes category, signifying a sizable positive impact on the career trajectories of its graduates.
This achievement for SDSB comes at the heels of it gaining reaccreditation by AACSB International, placing it among the top 6 per cent of business schools globally. In 2019, SDSB became the first business school in Pakistan to achieve AACSB International accreditation.
Earlier this month, LUMS was also recognised by QS International for being the top-ranked Pakistani university for employer reputation and international faculty in the QS World University Ranking (QSWUR) 2025, reaffirming LUMS’ dedication towards academic excellence, exemplary leadership, and continued growth.
