REDC Conducts Programme for Ekaterra, Unilever Pakistan
The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) at LUMS recently conducted a programme on Empowering Teams for Strategic Agility for Ekaterra, formerly a subsidiary of Unilever Pakistan. The programme which was conducted under REDC’s Custom initiatives, focused on strategic leadership, managing cultural change and empowering teams with better communication for team building and trust.
Designed as a highly engaging 4-day intervention, the programme exposed participants to contemporary leadership and self-Initiative practices, business fundamentals practices, stress management, team cohesion, and transforming teams for agility and performance.
Muhammad Kamran Sikandar Quraishi, Key Account Manager, Ekaterra, said, “Exceptional knowledge transfer and teaching ability. Great preparation and drafting of course content. The programme was directed by Arif Nazir Butt and Muhammad Adeel Zaffar and joined in teaching by Muhammad Luqman Awan and Abdur Rahman Malik. President Ekaterra, Ms Farheen Salman Amir also joined as a guest speaker to reinforce the concepts and company values as well as to enhance practical knowledge from her experience.

The instructors made use of case studies, simulations, and team activities to ensure active participation and stimulate discussions for a better exchange of ideas. The programme was well-received by the participants who lauded the faculty’s area expertise and ability to impart knowledge.
“The course design and faculty who taught us in this programme were very friendly for learning. They respected participants' opinions and addressed every question. Knowledge has a beginning but no end,” said Adeel Altaf, Zonal Sales Manager.
