REDC Hosts Executive Development Programme for GENCO
The Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted a three-weeklong Executive Development Programme for a group of senior executives from Power Generation Companies (GENCO) and GENCO Holding Company Limited.
Divided into three sessions carried out from June 27-July 2, July 4-7, and July18-22, the programme created an immersive learning experience, equipping executives in strategic positions to develop and enhance the skills necessary for progress in today’s competitive world. The programme was directed by Drs. Arif N. Butt and Shakeel Sadiq Jajja, and joined in teaching by Zehra Waheed, Jawad Syed, Anjum Fayyaz, and Muhammad Junaid Ashraf.
Participants experienced learning through a mix of interactive case discussions, exercises, simulations, group work and discussions. Instructors emphasised the need to embrace changing corporate realities and develop new skills necessary to sustain the workflow during challenging times.

Recognised as a transformational experience by the executives, the programme gave its participants insight into different management functions, enabling them to expand their knowledge related to project management, financial management, leadership, teamwork, human resources, procurement, communication within teams, innovation, and global value chains.
